In 1981, Beverly Wilshire Investment Company (BWIC) purchased the 9454 Wilshire Blvd. building from Glendale Federal Savings and Loan, the Building’s original developer. Glendale Federal spared no expense in developing this 12-story Class-A building, paying the highest price ever at the time for a commercially-zoned parcel in Beverly Hills.
BWIC is a privately held, family-run limited liability company, and the 9454 Wilshire Building is its sole asset. As such, BWIC has dedicated the past 30 years to maintaining and enhancing this architectural landmark and ensuring its reputation as the premier high-rise commercial office building in the heart of the Beverly Hills commercial district.
